You used to call me your dreamer

And now I’m living out my dream.

Oh, how I wish you could see

Everything that’s happening for me.

— from Miley Cyrus’s song  “I Miss You” about her grandfather Ron Cyrus who died of mesothelioma when she was a little girl

Today, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) pays tribute to politician Ron Cyrus, father of Billy Ray and grandfather of Miley Cyrus, whose life was tragically cut short by mesothelioma.  In 2012, Ron Cyrus was remembered with the ADAO “Warren Zevon Keep Me in Your Heart Tribute Award.”

Please visit the ADAO Interviews playlist this week, as we honor different members of our ADAO community whose lives were affected by mesothelioma.

Together, we make change happen.
