The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) has changed our 2013 Asbestos Awareness Conference hotel to the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.
For nine years, ADAO has been dedicated to public health and and workers’ safety and today is no different. Based on the recently confirmed fact that the Hyatt Regency Crystal City is on the AFL-CIO’s boycott list as of July 2012, ADAO has canceled our Hyatt contract, which was signed in 2011 before the boycott.
ADAO greatly respects unions and is dedicated to protecting workers’ health and safety, as a collective voice is critically important to ensure workers have fair, safe, and decent jobs.
Our 2013 Asbestos Awareness Conference will indeed be the best yet. I look forward to personally welcoming you to the Crystal City Marriott on March 22-24, 2013.
