2014IndividualDonors RESIZEADAO is honored and profoundly grateful to Emily Bankhead for her 2014 ADAO Diamond level gift in loving memory of her husband Gordon Bankhead, who lost his courageous mesothelioma battle in 2011.

With Emily’s gift, she is sponsoring ADAO’s pre-conference Patient and Family Washington, D.C. Tour on Friday, April 4.  ADAO looks forward to recognizing Emily and her commitment to eliminating asbestos disease during our Awards & Recognition Dinner on Saturday, April 5. We also want to sincerely thank our 2013 Diamond Donors, the Rahe Family, for their gift last year in loving memory of Bob Rahe.

Emily and Gordon Bankhead’s song together was “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You,” written by Van Morrison and sung by Rod Stewart, reminding us all to appreciate every day we have with our loved ones. Thank you so much for your generosity to ADAO, Emily. We join you in honoring Gordon’s memory.

We are also grateful to our Emerald Donors: Tom O’Neill Memorial Donations from family and friends, the Trafton and Maude Crandall Foundation, the Von St. James Family and Jill Cagle; Sapphire Donors: Marli Beer and Michele Mikulic, and Garnet Donors: Esther O’Driscoll and Paul & Yvonne Hall.

We look to a future world free from asbestos where no one has to know the pain so many of us have felt.

In unity,

Linda Reinstein
