Jammin' Asbestos Awareness ConcertOn Mesothelioma Awareness Day, September 26, 2014, “Jammin’ for Asbestos Awareness,” a family-friendly concert and silent auction, will be held at 7 pm at The Slow Down in Omaha, Nebraska. Tickets can be purchased online at the Slow Down for $20 ator at the door. All of the performers, including ADAO’s beloved National Spokesperson Jordan Zevon, are donating their time.  We are thrilled to welcome The Jiggawatts, CleverLumpy GravyMandown, Cosmic Radio, and Troi Atkinson, a Mesothelioma Warrior.

Bob Rahe was a father, brother and uncle who came into contact with asbestos during a summer job. We had no idea that, over 30 years later, he would be diagnosed with a deadly cancer relating to this exposure.” The Rahe family’s painful experience with mesothelioma is like so many of ours at the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO).  We are very grateful to the Rahe family for their generous support of ADAO. We share their hope that “maybe one day, with all of us armed with much more knowledge than we had yesterday, we can look towards a cure.”

Special thanks to Richard Schultz, an influential member of the Omaha art and music scene, for designing the concert poster!

Please email questions to jam@asbestosdiseaseawareness.org.

I invite all of you to join us for a spectacular evening on September 26th in Omaha!

In gratitude,

Linda
