jigga jamminThe Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is proud to continue our weekly series highlighting each performer at the much-anticipated “Jammin’ for Asbestos Awareness” concert! This charity concert will take place at 7 PM on September 26 at the Slowdown, 729 North 14th Street, in Omaha, Nebraska. Purchase your concert tickets online today or at the door. “Jammin’ for Asbestos Awareness,” organized by the Rahe Family in loving memory of Bob Rahe, combines quality music and family fun in an effort to raise asbestos awareness and funds to prevent exposure to eliminate asbestos-caused diseases. All proceeds are being generously donated to ADAO. Seven talented acts will be performing, including Jordan Zevon, Troi AtkinsonThe Jiggawatts, Clever, Lumpy Gravy, Mandown, and Cosmic Radio.

This week we feature The Jiggawatts, a local 80’s new wave party band, that will rock the house.

The Jiggawatts are a 6-piece 80’s rock/new wave cover band from the Omaha area. Their sound consists of rock guitars, electronic synth keys, and electronic drums. They cover everything from Duran Duran, to Blondie, The Cure, Journey, and more. The Jiggawatts consider themselves an 80’s party band with high energy and emotion included with every set.

The Jiggawatts are proud to be performing this event with the intention of doing their part to help donate towards a good cause and help those in need.

Check back next week to read about Clever, and don’t miss a great evening with ADAO and all of our talented performers in Omaha on September 26. See you then!

In unity,

Linda
