This week we feature the band Clever.

Clever features Paul Moerke on guitar, Kevin Thomas on back vocals, Bruce Coddington on guitar and vocals, Paul Weakland on drums, and Clint Thomas on Bass
Clever started in 1997 released their first CD in 1998. However when Paul Weakland did not want to tour anymore, Ben Maxwell joined in and the band moved to St. Louis and was touring relentlessly from 1998 on. Clever was a top drawing band in Omaha. They released their sophomore effort in 2000 and disbanded in 2001, and have played a few shows since. With some new tunes in the air the band has decided to come back together to record, and “That’s the beauty of music and chemistry between the five of us. ” says Thomas. This performance will be Weakland’s first performance with Clever since 1999. Clever is looking forward to doing this show because they HATE Cancer, and they also love being a part of this cause in order to bring more awareness!

Check back next week to read about Lumpy Gravy, and don’t miss a great evening with ADAO and all of our talented performers in Omaha on September 26. See you then!

In unity,
Linda
