Asbestos ScareOn July 28, I was honored to write the a guest blog for the Safety and Health Practitioner (SHP) entitled “|“Asbestos Scare in U.S. Capitol is a Reminder of America’s Failure to Act.”

Just days after the “asbestos-related incident”, ADAO held our 6th Congressional Staff Briefing “Asbestos: The Impact on Public Health and the Environment” in D.C., during which the staffers nodded in understanding and fear when we mentioned the recent scare.  Many of the Members of Congress that were affected by the temporary close of the Capitol have continued to oppose a ban on asbestos in the U.S.
