Claire Deacon (South Africa Occupational Safety & Health) Claire Deacon, Managing Member of OCCUMED cc has practiced as an Occupational Health Practitioner
[OHN] since 1982. Claire Deacon and Associates (cd&a) commenced in 2008. Claire obtained a General Nursing Diploma at Groote Schuur Hospital and qualified in Occupational Health at the University of Stellenbosch. She has completed various degrees: a B.Tech in Occupational Health at Peninsula Technikon; BSc Med [Honours] in Ergonomics at the University of Cape Town, and a Masters in Nursing [MCur] [by research] at the University of Port Elizabeth [UPE]. She is currently registered for a PhD Construction Management at NMMU. Claire has received her Professional Construction H&S Agent status with the SACPCMP (CHSA 010/2013), and serves as a Council member on the 4th term council, appointed by the Minister or Public Works.
