8ADAO is honored to present at the at the 33rd Annual Environmental Information Association Conference (EIA), March 6-9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

My presentation, “Asbestos: Progress and Challenges from Our Homes to the Hill,” will provide an update on the progress and challenges of prevention, legislation, and global advocacy, and will touch on how ADAO and EIA can expand collaborative efforts.

ADAO and EIA have worked together for almost 10 years and we’re proud to continue our work together to keep Americans safe from environmental toxins like asbestos.

EIA is a nonprofit dedicated to improving environmental health and safety. With its beginnings as the National Asbestos Council, EIA has spent 25 years at the forefront in providing the environmental industry with the information needed to remain knowledgeable, responsible, and competitive in the environmental health and safety industry.

Asbestos has still not banned the United States and imports continue. By partnering for prevention with EIA and other strategic partners, we can expand  health and safety knowledge and information distribution.
