The International Ban Asbestos Secretariat

Since 2000, the International Ban Asbestos Secretariat (IBAS) has organized or taken part in asbestos events on six continents. In many cases, detailed reports on the congresses, conferences, seminars and workshops serve as an invaluable resource detailing the emergence of the global grass-roots ban asbestos movement. IBAS has published a series of reports documenting the asbestos reality around the world; the latest of these monographs – The IBAS Report on the 2009 Asian Asbestos Conference - can be viewed online.
