Urge Your Two U.S. Senators to Send Staffers to the ADAO Briefing on July 17 - ADAO

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) will continue to make your voices heard when we return to Washington D.C. on July 17th, 2014 for our sixth Congressional Staff Briefing, entitled “Asbestos: The Impact on Public Health and the Environment.” This Senate Staff Briefing boasts an impressive list of speakers and a range of asbestos topics including:

Asbestos: History, Facts, and Stats – Barry Castleman, ScD, Environmental Consultant
Diagnosing and Treating Asbestos-Related Diseases – Christine Oliver, MD, MPH, MS, FACPM
Asbestos Exposures in Homes, Schools, and Workplaces – Tony Rich, Industrial Hygienist
Asbestos Took My Son Away – Sandra Neuenschwander, Mesothelioma Victim
Asbestos Impact: Medically, Legally, and TSCA Reform – Linda Reinstein, President, Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization

Although this briefing is open only to members of Congress and their staff, your voice can still be heard.

Call your two U.S. Senators (you can sort by state) to confirm they have received our invitation and urge them to send a staffer to our staff briefing on July 17 at noon. ADAO hand-delivered invitations to every Senate office; however, if they have not received our invitation, please fax or email them another copy of our Briefing Invitation.
