June 22, 2015: ACTION ALERT: Call to Ask Your Members of Congress to Attend ADAO’s Asbestos Staff Briefing
Did you read that EWG Asbestos Nation found asbestos again in children’s crayons and toys?!? Well, we need your help today!
ADAO is a leader in asbestos prevention and legislative efforts. On July 15 ADAO will host our 8th Congressional Staff Asbestos Briefing to share the facts protecting public health, consumer safety, and civil rights. You can become an ADAO champion today by calling your Senators’ and Representatives’ offices to invite their judiciary, health, and environmental staffers to attend.
It’s so easy. Information about how you can invite them can be found here. When you call, let them know that they will also be receiving your Share Your Stories. Once you have done this, tag yourself in our graphic letting everyone know that you too are an ADAO champion. Each and every call counts. The more people tagged the better our chances are for ending the importing and consumption of asbestos in the US and abroad!
