All are invited to a wonderful dinner to celebrate our conference, honor tireless advocates for asbestos victims, and thank our generous conference sponsors. 

It gets even better — from 6:00 – 6:30 PM, we are hosting a “Meet the Artists” Signature Cocktail Reception where you can meet Jordan Zevon (musician), David McCumber (journalist), Quincy Jones (comedian), Paolo Monico (filmmaker), Earl Dotter (photographer), and Tony Rich (historian). You’ll also be able to enjoy exhibits from Earl and Tony, which will be on display during Saturday’s conference programming and awards reception.

2017 Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference Honorees Include:

Senator Jon Tester will be recognized with The Tribute of Hope Award for his steadfast commitment to his steadfast commitment to awareness, prevention, and policy to eliminate asbestos-related diseases.

Dr. Raja Flores will be recognized with The Dr. Irving Selikoff Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his tireless dedication to increasing awareness about asbestos to eliminate diseases and research that leads to a cure.

Dr. Marie-Claude Jaurand will be recognized with The Dr. Irving Selikoff Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of her tireless dedication to increasing awareness about asbestos to eliminate diseases.

Dr. Bruce Robinson will be recognized with The Dr. Irving Selikoff Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of her tireless dedication to increasing awareness about asbestos to eliminate diseases.

Associação Brasileira Dos Expostos Ao Amianto (ABREA) will be recognized with The Tribute of Unity Award for their relentless efforts, both nationally and internationally, to protect public health, ban asbestos, and increase public awareness about the danger of asbestos.

Safer Chemical, Health Families will be recognized with The Tribute of Inspiration Award for their unwavering commitment to protecting public health and our environment from toxic exposures.

Quincy Jones will be recognized with the Warren Zevon “Keep me in Your Heart” Tribute Award for using his comedic talent and story to raise awareness and action for mesothelioma and asbestos-caused diseases.

The Dioguardi Family will be recognized with the Alan Reinstein Award for their commitment to education, advocacy, and providing support to countless patients and families.

The Mattmuller Family will be recognized with the Alan Reinstein Award for their commitment to education, advocacy, and providing support to countless patients and families.
