ADAO is deeply grateful for the support of our global family, volunteers, and donors in 2010. This support has allowed us to expand our education, advocacy, and community initiatives throughout the world and to continue to battle against asbestos and asbestos-related disease. But a year of continued unprecedented growth in 2011 will require sustained support from our sponsors and friends. I ask you to support ADAO’s tireless efforts on behalf of those affected by asbestos by donating a tribute page to memorialize a loved one or honor a family member battling asbestos-related disease.

FAMILY TRIBUTE PROGRAM

The 7th Annual Asbestos Awareness Conference on April 1-3 will bring together global experts with a combined 400 years of experience in Atlanta, GA to discuss the effects of asbestos on public health, environment, and the economy. The Family Tribute Program pages are included in the conference program and provide a wonderful opportunity for patients, families, caregivers, and friends to personally offer tribute to victims of asbestos-related disease. Tributes start as low as $100 for a ¼ page. Ask siblings, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, co-workers, neighbors, and friends to contribute a portion of the $1,000 full-page cost, and they can include notes and pictures to their loved one. Payment and form are due by February 25, 2011. See last year’s conference program and tributes here.
