I am delighted and honored to present for the third time at the Global Health & Innovation Conference (#GHIC) at Yale University.
On April 16, I will be speaking about the“Asbestos: The Human Cost of Inaction” during the “Environmental Considerations for Human Health session.” During the conference I will discuss the impact asbestos had and continues to have on public health, consumer safety, and our environment. Recent reports such as “Asbestos in the U.S. Capitol” and the “Failing the Grade: Asbestos in America’s Schools” report from Senator Markey (D-MA) confirmed Americans remain at risk today.
Other presenters at the conference include:
- “Asbestos: The Human Cost of Inaction,” Linda Reinstein, President and CEO and Co-Founder, Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization
- “Air Pollution in China: Evaluation and Significance of Health Effects on the Population,” Georgia Sambunaris, Global Health Consultant
- “Skin-Lightening Practices and Mercury Exposure in Immigrant Communities,” Charles Oberg, Professor Emeritus, University of Minnesota
- “Roundup and Autism: Why Correlation Is Causation This Time,” Stephanie Seneff, Senior Research Scientist, MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
I am excited to connect with conference individuals, organizations, universities, and social entrepreneurs to advance our ADAO mission to prevent exposure to eliminate asbestos-caused diseases.
Together, we make change happen.
