On February 4, 2026, Less Cancer will convene its National Cancer Prevention Workshop, bringing together advocates, scientists, public health leaders, and policymakers for a focused discussion on preventing cancer.

Founded by Bill Couzens, Less Cancer has long emphasized the importance of upstream prevention, evidence-based policy, and cross-sector collaboration. This year’s workshop continues that tradition, reinforcing a shared public-health truth: prevention is the cure.

The National Cancer Prevention Workshop underscores that no single organization or discipline can advance prevention alone. Progress depends on collaboration: connecting research, lived experience, and policy solutions to reduce risk, protect communities, and save lives.

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is pleased to support this important event and recognizes Less Cancer’s continued leadership in advancing prevention-first strategies that address cancer at its source.
