It is with great sadness that I report the death of our friend and colleague, Rachel, who lost her battle against mesothelioma earlier this week. Rachel has been courageously battling the disease and speaking out on behalf of mesothelioma victims throughout Asia and the world – a beacon of light and hope for all of us. It was just weeks ago that I saw her beaming smile in India, as dedicated as ever despite her weakened health. Rachel, I will forever remember your smile, your strong voice, your spirit, and your deep love for your family. We send our most sincere condolences to your family and loved ones and I will personally be lighting a candle in her honor on December 28th. Please join us and others around the world as we light candles in memory of mesothelioma patients we have lost and commit ourselves to continue on with our battle against asbestos and asbestos-related disease.
