On Friday, in conjunction with Italians in Film, Instituto Italian di Cultura di Los Angeles, The Scandinavian Film Festival, the L.A. Irish Film Festival, Labor Video Project, Lightyear Digital Entertainment, and Amusedom.com, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) was proud to present a Workers’ Memorial Day screening of the popular Italian documentary Dust: The Great Asbestos Trial in Beverly Hills, CA. The screening brought in 50+ people from five different countries despite taking place during the middle of the day. Before the film, attendees were treated to a live Skype introduction from the Italian director, Niccolo Bruna, during which he provided some background on the events discussed in the documentary. After the film was shown, a panel discussion featuring ADAO President and Co-Founder Linda Reinstein and Amusedom.com founder Pepe Moreno was held, featuring poignant questions about asbestos and the Eternit trial, which Dust is about. Those who were unable to attend in person on Friday had the chance over the weekend to view Dust in its entirety online. Response to this was incredibly positive, as over 160 people from around the world watched online. Photos from the event can be viewed here. In unity,

Linda
