Before we get down to the serious work of science, policy, prevention, treatment, and justice, we’re kicking off ADAO’s 21st Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference with something a little different.

Music. Friends. Stories. Laughter. And maybe a little dancing.

Join us on Friday, September 25, 2026, in Washington, D.C. for An Evening Under the Stars, the opening night of our two-day conference.

And Warren Zevon fans, don’t worry—you’ll hear more than “Lawyers, Guns and Money.”

From L.A. to D.C.—The Music Continues

Last October, Jordan Zevon and Jordan Summers helped bring Warren Zevon’s music to life in Los Angeles at “Join Me in L.A.: The Songs of Warren Zevon,” a Wild Honey Foundation tribute concert benefiting ADAO and the Ed Asner Family Center.

The concert followed Warren Zevon’s 2025 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, making this an especially meaningful time to celebrate his enduring musical legacy.

Now, some of that L.A. magic is coming to Washington.

Meet the Musicians

Jordan Zevon, ADAO’s National Spokesperson and Celebrity Board Co-Chair, is a singer, songwriter, and film composer who has stood with the asbestos community for nearly two decades. He served as executive producer of his father Warren Zevon’s final album, The Wind, and co-produced Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon. Through music and advocacy, Jordan has turned personal loss into a powerful voice for prevention.

Matt Cartsonis is a Grammy-nominated composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and film and television composer. A longtime friend and musical collaborator of Warren Zevon, Matt performed with Warren during his final years and continues to help preserve his musical legacy through performance and storytelling.

Jordan Summers is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, musician, and producer who has helped bring Warren Zevon’s music to new generations. He has led Zevon tribute performances with the Wild Honey Orchestra while also supporting awareness of mesothelioma and asbestos-related diseases.
