U.S. Congressman Don Bacon has represented Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District since 2017. A retired Brigadier General, he served nearly 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in electronic warfare and intelligence. Bacon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University, followed by two Master’s Degrees from the University of Phoenix and the National War College. His military career included commanding the 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base. In Congress, he serves on the Agriculture and Armed Services Committees, focusing on national security and veterans’ affairs.  Congressman Bacon is a dedicated cosponsor of the Alan Reinstein Ban Asbestos Now (ARBAN) Act — reinforcing his commitment to preventing toxic asbestos exposures and safeguarding future generations.
