Join the world’s leading experts in medicine, public health, labor policy, environmentalism, and more for an interdisciplinary, international discussion on one of our world’s most pressing issues from April 3-5, 2020 in Washington D.C. Now in its sixteenth year, the Annual ADAO International Asbestos Prevention and Awareness Conference is regarded as one of the most important events held in the prevention and policy community. You can be a part of tomorrow’s change by registering here!

ADAO is the only U.S. nonprofit that organizes annual conferences dedicated to preventing and eliminating asbestos-caused diseases. From medical experts to mesothelioma victims, trade union leaders to lawmakers, and activists to loved ones, ADAO’s annual conferences have hosted a total of more than 300 speakers since 2005. This distinguished group – which includes experts from nearly 20 different countries – has gathered every year for the past 15 years to speak about our joint efforts in asbestos education, advocacy and awareness.

Not only do we have an esteemed panel of speakers for our academic conference on Saturday, April 4, we also have a community event on Friday – where registered conference attendees will join us for congressional meetings on Capitol Hill – followed by a casual dinner; a Gala and Awards Dinner on Saturday; and a Unity and Remembrance Brunch on Sunday! Our esteemed honorees this year include award-winning filmmaker Judd Apatow, Congressman Paul Tonko, Dr. Jacqueline Moline, Robert Sussman, Barry Robson, the American Federation of Teachers, and the ARBAN Supporters.

We look forward to sharing more exciting updates- such as sponsors, a full list of honorees, and keynote speakers- with you as they are finalized.

ADAO’s conference is the preeminent venue for victims, scientists, health and safety professionals, the medical community, and health and environmental activists. Space is limited, so make sure to secure your seats and register today!

Together we DO make change happen.
