ADAO Co-Founders, Doug and Linda, at the Stevies

On June 17 in Chicago, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) had the honor of attending the American Business Awards’ 11th annual Stevie Awards Banquet. The event was a spectacular celebration of innovation and impact. Hundreds of attendees representing organizations throughout the country shared a joyous evening of dinner, awards presentations, and meaningful collaboration.

At the banquet, ADAO was thrilled to be awarded a Silver Stevie Award in the Company of the Year – Non-Profit or Government Organizations category. With profound gratitude, ADAO is delighted to share this award with the many ADAO volunteers, interns, supporters, brave patients and families, sponsors, donors, conference presenters, National Spokesperson Jordan Zevon, Honorary Celebrity Board Co-Chair Barbara Minty McQueenADAO Leadership, and our Science Advisory Board, all of whom fuel our work with contributions in dollars, hours, thought, and action. It is truly because of all of you that ADAO’s influence has grown exponentially since its founding in 2004. Together, we have made significant strides toward our vision of a world free of asbestos-related disease.

ADAO warmly congratulates the other organizations who also received Stevie Awards at the banquet. The other organizations in ADAO’s Non-Profit/Government Organization award category were the National Association for the Self-Employed, New Heights Educational Group, SCRA, SoundExchange, and the Keep a Breast Foundation, all of which are accomplishing phenomenal work with far-reaching impact. ADAO was deeply honored to be recognized along with these extraordinary organizations.

Together, change is possible.

Linda
