Since 2007, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) and Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP) have been Partnering for Prevention with the vision of a world free from asbestos and asbestos disease. ADAO is pleased to support the IAPT in their third annual Winter Wonderland fundraising event. As a leading asbestos nonprofits in the United Kingdom, IATP is recognized for providing quality training and management. IAPT Communications Director Christine stated that “IATP is again delighted to be hosting our 3rd annual dinner and awards. Where we bring the patients, carers community and the industries together for Fun, Fundraising and Raising Asbestos Awareness.”
The annual Winter Wonderland Dinner will take place Saturday January 31st 2015 at The Belfry Hotel & Golf Course and will focus bringing together great food, people, and spirit all in the name of an extraordinary cause. All Proceeds from the “Winter Wonderland” event will be donated directly to the Asbestos Awareness and Support Cymru (AASC). ADAO is pleased to donate a “Justice Has No Timeline” print to their silent auction. This poignant artwork was made possible by the collaborative efforts Ann Samuelson and Rebecca Read.
The 2015 IATP honorees are:
Kieran Brewer is receiving the Meso Warrior Award for his unwavering support and commitment to the Meso Warrior Community.
Lord Saatchi is receiving the Making a Difference Award for the Saatchi Bill which opens the opportunity for innovation and treatments for all types of cancer.
Joint Union Asbestos Committee (JUAC) is receiving the Outstanding Contribution Award for their commitment in the UK to remove and manage asbestos in schools.

It is with great fondness that I remember receiving the 2013 IATP Global Impact Award and meeting many special Meso Warriors including Mavis, Ray, Mark, Linda T, Rose, Judith, Andrea, Angela, Tracey, and many others. It was truly a night I will never forget.
