The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization is pleased to support the Bradley family in their 2nd Annual Miracle 5K honoring the memory of their son and beloved Mesothelioma Warrior, Michael Bradley.

At the age of only 29, Michael was taken from us – robbed of his future by the horrible disease mesothelioma. Yet, his courage in the wake of such deadly disease was unparalleled. Michael inspired many with his extraordinary commitment to finding a cure for asbestos diseases and to banning asbestos. He was, and still is, an inspiration to mesothelioma warriors and their families in the US and around the world. When Michael heard his mesothelioma diagnosis he knew through sharing his story he could asbestos and mesotheliomas raise and never looked back.  He set his course on change and through his life and his memory we have seen his remarkable accomplishments. On February 1, 2014, Michael received the ADAO Special Recognition of Valor Award due to his extraordinary commitment to finding a cure for asbestos diseases and banning asbestos. Michael’s mother, Sandra, has also been an avid supporter of ADAO and dedicated to spreading asbestos awareness. Since Michael’s death, she has shared his story all over the world speaking at Congressional staff briefings and most recently that the ADAO 11th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference in Washington, D.C.

The purpose of Michael’s Miracle 5K event is to continue fighting where Michael left off. To continue raising the asbestos awareness and prevention that he and his family have fought so hard to sustain and also to raise the money necessary to ban asbestos and research to find a cure for mesothelioma. In Michael’s words “Asbestos is deadly, It does not think, it just kills.”

The event will take place on May 2, 2015 in Varnell Georgia at 10 am. The cost is $20.00 for pre-registered participants and $25.00 to register the day of the event. There will be food and refreshments, raffles, and a performance by Randy Bradley.

Please join ADAO in remembering Michael and supporting the Bradley family with this event!  All proceeds will benefit ADAO and MARF.

In unity,

Linda
