Top Three SYSTop Three Reasons To Share Your Asbestos Story with ADAO Now!

  1. Unite with other asbestos victims
  2. Have your story hand-delivered to Congress
  3. Shape policy to ban asbestos and find a cure

Have you or your loved one has been affected by asbestos or an asbestos-caused disease such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis?

It’s time to speak up! Congress needs to hear from you now, more than ever.  Did you know that an estimated 40 Americans die each day from asbestos-caused diseases?

As the largest asbestos victims’ organization in the U.S., the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) understands the importance of individuals’ stories in raising asbestos awareness, advocating for a ban, and providing comfort to those suffering in our community. We initiated our Share Your Story (SYS) platform for these reasons, and it has become more powerful in the battle against asbestos than we ever could have imagined.

ADAO takes these stories to Congress and global asbestos awareness conferences in order to drive change. We saw just how impactful the Share Your Story handouts were at our 8th Congressional Staff Briefing, and know every story makes a difference!  There is a need to share stories with Senators on both sides of the aisle – public health and safety is a bipartisan issue.

We are missing Share Your Stories from the following states: Alaska, Delaware, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, and Wyoming. The more stories that are shared, the more voices that are heard.

In unity,
