2020 Honor or Remember a Mesothelioma Warrior with Tribute Bibs at the 12th Annual Miles for Meso Race

Updated on August 31, 2020

Registration is Open

Mark those calendars for the 2020 Miles for Meso fundraiser, taking place from Saturday, September 26th, until Friday, October 2nd. Usually a partially in person event, this year the entire event will be held virtually due to COVID-19 concerns. But that won’t make it any less important or fun! This is the 12th year that ADAO Platinum Sponsor Simmons Hanly Conroy will be putting on this fabulous event.

This annual event is one of the yearly highlights for our Mesothelioma Warrior community. It brings people together in a fun, healthy way. It even creates ways to connect digitally. And of course, it raises mesothelioma awareness and funds for the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO). Since 2014, ADAO has been the designated beneficiary for the Miles for Meso race in Alton which has raised over $180,000.

As stated on the Miles for Meso website, “Everyone who registers will receive a long-sleeve, moisture-wicking T-shirt. Participants will have from Sept. 26 until Oct. 2 to virtually report their results on the results page. Everyone who reports a result will receive a finisher medal. Please share pictures and join in our social conversations on Facebook and Twitter by using the hashtag #MilesForMeso.”

Early bird registration is from July 27 until August 28, with regular registration from August 28-September 16! Be sure to register here!

Save the date and start stretching those muscles! Together we will be on the starting line to “Fight Against Mesothelioma.”

In unity,

Linda
