Asbestos is the largest single occupational killer in the known world. The largest single defense we have to protect our workforces and people from its dangers is EDUCATION & TRAINING delivering practical skills and knowledge of how to safely deal with ACM’s when undertaking projects that might disturb asbestos, as employers, employees or in our own homes
The legacy of asbestos the world has already will take many decades of licensed, competently trained companies and their employees to remove and dispose of safely. Training, theory and practical skills that comply with legislative requirements, coupled with experience and performance management is a journey through structured modular learning, level by level and over a period of years, audited and refreshed annually at each level. This education, time and energy is the commitment that companies and persons must make to be licensed as asbestos professionals.
Only by providing our world with the Knowledge, Education, Training, Resources and Practical Skills to protect themselves, their colleagues and ultimately families from exposure to the Deadly Dust will we ensure our future is not impacted by our past.
