We are grateful to everyone who has and continue to donate to ADAO, especially during the COVID pandemic. We are just weeks away from Giving Tuesday on December 1st where you can show your support again. It follows retail holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it is one day you’ll hear a lot about fundraising and donating to any charities and non profit companies you may support.
ADAO continues to work leanly on our education, advocacy, and community building efforts to prevent asbestos exposure to eliminate all asbestos-caused diseases. Being fiscally sound, we only spent 9% of funds on operating expenses. Our accomplishments are no less than amazing, proving collective activism is powerful and productive.
Later this month, the nonprofit world kicks off the holiday giving period by recognizing Giving Tuesday on December 1st. It follows retail holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it is one day you’ll hear a lot about fundraising and donating to any charities and non profit companies you may support.
As a very small and independent organization, we don’t spend much time fundraising because it takes time away from the important advocacy work we must do. That’s why we need you and your support today, and the entire holiday season.
With your support, we work with other environmental groups, members of Congress, state governments, and world health leaders to raise awareness, expand prevention, support policy for a cure and a ban, and I hope you’ll join and donate on behalf of yourself, or a loved one. You have proven that together change is possible.
