Health and Safety Executive‘s ‘Hidden Killer’ campaign

The award winning Health and Safety Executive’s ‘Hidden Killer’ campaign is designed to warn tradespeople about the dangers of asbestos. This innovative campaign has also greatly increased asbestos awareness within the UK and around the world.

Posted in 2012: “The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) supports efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of exposure to asbestos at work. The asbestos-related diseases that affect today’s former plumbers, electricians, joiners, tradesmen, and construction workers are the result of exposure at work decades ago. It is vitally important for workers to understand the dangers they face in their daily work. Since 2008, HSE’s Hidden Killer Campaign has successfully been raising awareness of the issue by partnering with stakeholders, trade unions, worker’s representative bodies, and through a multi-channel marketing campaign.
