2020 – 2021 Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting List

Please note, any Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting name submitted after December 15, 2020 will be added to the list for our 2021 Global Asbestos Awareness Week Candle Lighting Tradition on April 7, 2021.

In honor of the longstanding Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting Tradition, we will light candles tomorrow, on Monday, December 28, 2020 in loving memory of the Warriors we’ve lost, and again on Monday, January 4, 2021 in support of Warriors who continue to bravely fight.

Since Mesothelioma Warrior Jill Vaughn started this tradition in 2000, candle lighting has brought hope and inspiration to our community, year after year.  Jill asked ADAO to help with the tradition in 2009, and it is our honor to respect Jill’s wish.  

May the flames of hope, courage, and community continue to burn brightly in our hearts forever.
