For ADAO, September is Mesothelioma Awareness Month — a month to raise awareness, remember our loved ones, and take action to prevent asbestos exposure to eliminate mesothelioma and all other asbestos-caused diseases. During the month, ADAO will be sharing asbestos & mesothelioma facts, resources, and community events.

September is a month to raise awareness, remember our loved ones, and take action to prevent asbestos exposure to eliminate mesothelioma and all other asbestos-caused diseases.

Asbestos-related diseases, like mesothelioma, are nearly 100% preventable. The first step towards prevention is education. That is why we have complied 30 irrefutable facts that we will share throughout the month. We invite you to post, tweet, share your stories, and share our content to raise awareness. Whether it is for one day, a week, or the entire month, help us spread the word. Raising awareness can help protect your community and those you love!

Follow the online conversation by using #BanAsbestos and #EndMESO or follow @Linda_ADAO on Twitter.

Together we make change happen. Help us honor and remember those impacted by asbestos, especially during this year’s Mesothelioma Awareness Month.
