ZEVONISTAS UNITE!!!

ZEVONISTAS UNITE!!! CANVAMy father, Warren Zevon, legendary singer/songwriter was taken from us 12 years ago by mesothelioma, the deadly disease related to asbestos exposure.

Despite the tireless work from the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), for whom I proudly serve as National Spokesperson, asbestos has not been banned in the United States.

On September 26th, Mesothelioma Awareness Day,  I’ll be performing once again at the Miles for Meso fundraiser in Alton, Illinois, which has chosen ADAO as the beneficiary of this wonderful event.Although I’ll be singing instead of running I’m inviting everyone to join my virtual race team, the ZEVONISTAS.  You can pledge any amount  – Think of it as more of Microphones for Meso kind of thing.

We want asbestos banned now.  No one should suffer like my father and the other 15,000 Americans who die every year from preventable asbestos-caused diseases.
