Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to Ban Asbestos in the US Now, Without Loopholes or Exemptions Petition

Updated on August 30, 2018

BIG NEWS! There are nearly 95,000 petition signatures urging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to Ban Asbestos in the US Now, Without Loopholes or Exemptions. Now, we have upped the stakes and are setting our goal even higher — 150,000 signatures!

With the help from Change.org, our petition has a slightly new look, and we want to share it even more!

Really, how can the EPA turn a blind eye to asbestos imports, use, and the deadly legacy of asbestos in our homes, schools, workplaces, infrastructures, and environment. Simple. They can’t.

With your help, we can raise awareness and work to pressure the EPA to do their job and finally ban asbestos. to get the word across that asbestos must be banned in the U.S. by signing, and sharing our petition on social media, in emails, texts, or by word of mouth. ADAO is going to hand deliver the petition signatures to Congressional Leadership on September 26, which is Mesothelioma Awareness Day.

Lets reach our new goal of 150,000 signatures and show the EPA that the time is NOW to do their job and ban asbestos in the U.S. without any loopholes or exemptions! On Mesothelioma Awareness Day, September 26, ADAO will deliver our petition to Congressional Leadership.

Together, you have proven that we can make change happen.
