The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization is proud to share that Jill Cagle, an ADAO community member, is organizing her 4th “Ridin’ The Wind With Rob”, in loving memory of her husband, Rob.

Thanks to Jill, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit ADAO. There are many ways to join  “Ridin’ The Wind With Rob” event even if you don’t ride a motorcycle or live in Illinois by using your Facebook,Twitter, and other social media platforms to increase awareness, show support, and raise funds. There will also be an online auction where you can bid for items and all proceeds will benefit ADAO! For more information on the auction, keep an eye on the Facebook Event Page

Jill said of the event, “I am riding to bring awareness to everyone who does not know that asbestos kills people and is still not banned in the U.S. which is criminal!!”

“Ridin’ the Wind with Rob” takes place Saturday, August 8. Check in is from 9:00-10:00 AM at McCritters Bar and Grill: 2801 Court St. Pekin, IL, 61554. During the event, riders will stop at Catalpa Grove, Psycho Silio, Last Chance, and then end back at McCritters.

Jill, thank you for always being part of our ADAO family, from organizing events, to sharing your beautiful voice by performing at our conferences. As Rob said, “It’s All Good” and we know  your “Ridin’ The Wind With Rob” event will be fantastic!

Of her husband, Jill said, “Rob did not know a stranger and loved life everyday even when he was sick. He was committed to his family and friends and always willing to help. He will be forever in my heart and so many others.”

Together, we continue to fight asbestos and its harms, and together, we make change possible!
