The Hill Op-Ed CANVA

On the eve of the House of Representatives’ TSCA Modernization and FACT Act markups, ADAO is pleased to announce the publication of its op-ed, “Americans face an irreversible rollback in chemical safety with S. 697” in the Washington, D.C. publication The Hill!  The positive media coverage of S. 697 and other asbestos-related bills as “bipartisan” and “progress,” has overshadowed the glaring flaws of this proposed bill.  As Kathleen Burns, PhD, from Sciencecorps said, “S. 697 is probably one of the most important bills regarding public health protections that we will see this year.  As currently written, it is absolutely awful.” ADAO is grateful for the opportunity to leverage op-ed articles to have our voice – and the voices of countless asbestos victims – heard.

In unity,

Linda
