The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) today announced that they have received a request from the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Environment and Hazardous Materials for the results of consumer products testing conducted by ADAO and announced at a November 28, 2007 press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

ADAO Praises U.S. Senate for Passing Senator Patty Murray’s Ban Asbestos in America Act
he Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), an organization dedicated to serving as the voice of asbestos victims, today praised the passage of Senator Patty Murray (D-WA)’s Ban Asbestos in America Act of 2007 by the U.S. Senate. The Ban Asbestos in America Act is an effort to ban all production and use of asbestos in America, launch public education campaigns to raise awareness about its dangers and expand research and treatment of diseases caused by asbestos.
